Learn how to make Maharashtrian style Sode Bhaat (Prawn Rice) a quick rice recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />1 Cup Sode (Dried Prawns), soaked for 30 minutes <br />1 & 1/2 Cup Rice <br />4-5 tbsp Oil <br />1 Cinnamon <br />3 Cloves <br />4-5 Black Pepper <br />1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste <br />2 Onions <br />1/2tsp Turmeric powder <br />Coriander Leaves <br />1 tbsp Mix Masala <br />Salt to taste <br />3 Cups Water <br />1 tbsp Dry Coconut paste <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- Firstly, soak the Sode (Dried Prawn) in some water for 30 minutes. <br />- In a pan heat some oil. <br />- Add cinnamon, cloves & black pepper. <br />- Then add ginger garlic paste, onion, turmeric powder, coriander leaves and soaked prawn. Saute everything well. <br />- Add rice, mix masala, salt, water & dry coconut paste. Stir well. <br />- Cover it with a lid and let everything cook for 15 minutes. <br />- Garnish the Prawn Rice with coriander leaves and serve!
